Spirit HR’s Founders

Dale Hageman, CEO, and Marilyn Conyer, President and COO, founded Spirit HR out of a true passion for serving businesses through high-quality human resources services. As entrepreneurs themselves, they understand the demands of building and operating a successful business. They, therefore, designed Spirit to address the HR, Benefits, Risk and Payroll needs of employers in a way that complements entrepreneurial organizations and helps them thrive. Spirit HR is founded on the principles that it will provide flexible, beneficial and critical services through a dedicated, client-centric approach, fostering the success of our clients and enabling businesses to focus on their mission, because our mission is to help you achieve yours.

Dale Hageman, CEODale Hageman, CEO

Throughout his career, Dale Hageman has helped businesses grow and succeed. Dale’s passion and innovative business strategies have enabled owners to focus on doing what they love – running their companies. Dale saw an opportunity to improve the employment experience for business owners, and in 1992, he founded Accord Human Resources. Under Dale’s leadership, Accord grew from a small office with four employees to a thriving multi-state Professional Employer Organization (PEO).

Dale held fast to his entrepreneurial roots, developing services and solutions that helped small businesses succeed. Dale brings this same commitment to helping business owners be successful to Spirit HR, empowering and enabling this success through Spirit’s outsourced HR services.

Marilyn Conyer, President and COO

Marilyn ConyerMarilyn Conyer’s reputation is that of a fearless leader, knowledgeable HR professional, fierce negotiator, operational efficiency expert and wise counsel. As an accomplished executive for a national Professional Employer Organization (PEO) for more than 20 years, Marilyn amassed extensive expertise and technical knowledge in human resources, benefits, payroll and operations. A founding executive of Accord Human Resources, she balanced the demands of managing operations of a thriving organization with leading a team of professionals providing expert guidance, payroll, benefits and HR expertise to hundreds of clients. Marilyn’s incredibly high standards for both her team and herself earned Accord a position as one of the top PEOs in the nation, as well as the respect and loyalty of countless Accord clients.

 

As President and COO of Spirit HR, Marilyn is driven by an entrepreneurial spirit which gives her unique insight into the needs of her clients, as well as a passion for improving the employment experience through superior outsourced HR solutions. This combination of commitment and insight is the spirit behind Spirit Human Resources.
