Spirit HR Launches “Spirit HR Gives” Program to Hundreds of
Employees Through Community Health Charities Giving Portal
Professional Employer Organization connects employees at client companies with nearly 40
local health charities in Oklahoma-with plans to expand to other markets
June 6, 2017, Oklahoma City, OK — Spirit HR, a professional employer organization that companies use to outsource employee management tasks like HR, benefits and payroll, just announced a new partnership with Community Health Charities to launch its locally focused “Spirit HR Gives” program, which will begin in Oklahoma and then expand to other markets. The program provides a way for employees at client companies to become more involved in the community with an easy way to support the participating charity of their choice.
“Health impacts all of us,” said Shelly Douglas, Community Health Charities Director in Oklahoma. “Spirit HR is helping raise awareness and financial resources for health – whether it’s children with cancer, adults with heart disease, or another important health issue – by offering charity choices not just to their own employees, but also to client companies. Together, we’re building stronger, healthier communities and improving lives.”
An average of 77% of U.S. workers were either above normal weight or had been diagnosed with at least one long-term health condition, according to Gallup research. Community Health Charities member charity partners work hard to improve these health conditions, and now Spirit HR is joining this effort through the Spirit HR Gives program. This is about doing what is best for clients, employees, and the community. “We believe in supporting causes that help better the lives of those in our community and the Spirit HR Gives program is a perfect outlet,” explained CEO Dale Hageman. “Providing an easy way for our internal and worksite employees to contribute to their favorite charities is just another example of how we use our technology to enhance the employment experience.”
